Phuket is mainly granite mountain covered by forest and comprised of rubber plantations, pineapples and coconuts, together with many of beautiful white-sand beaches especially on the west coast.

The province is divided into three administrative districts; Muang (Phuket town), Kathu and Thalang.

  • Hot Season starts from November to April. The temperatures will be highest in March and April. The best months for travel are November through February.
December is the peak season for Phuket's tourism. The island will be packed by tourists from worldwide. If you want to avoid the crowds and enjoy off-season hotel rate come during the summertime. Note that August and September are the wettest month.
